The Irish Yank Society - Summer Shred Wrap-Up
Share
Ah I can't believe 8 weeks has come and gone already! What an incredible experience it's been, getting to know the Irish Yank Community!
The goal of the Summer Shred was never just about getting lean for Summer.
It was about helping people stop starting over every Monday.
We created this programme to support The Irish Yank clients in understanding a fundamental truth:
- You can’t out-train a poor diet.
- You can lift heavy, train hard, and tick every box in the gym — but if your nutrition isn’t right, you’re holding yourself back.
That’s where CFIT came in.

I headed up all things nutrition — helping participants build sustainable, realistic habits that aligned with their training and lifestyle.
We didn’t chase perfection. We focused on consistency. And that’s where the results came from.
The Summer Shred was a true team effort:
-
Daniel (The Irish Yank) led the strength training and mindset coaching, helping clients push boundaries in the gym and shift the way they think about discipline and progress.
-
Chelsea delivered the running programming, building speed, endurance, and confidence through structured plans.
-
CFIT focused on nutrition and lifestyle strategies, supporting clients with education, planning, and routines that actually work in real life.

I joined this collaboration because Daniel and I have known each other for years. We coach with the same values:
- Education over ego.
- Long-term results over quick fixes.
- No fluff, no fads — just real coaching that delivers.
Daniel & I connected over the love on kettlebells and strength training. We had a few calls discussing all things business, training and what the differences are coaching in Ireland v's American. Shortly after that, Daniel offered me to come onboard as part of his team. Talk about imposter syndrome!
That moment when nutrition clicks. When they stop obsessing over numbers and start building routines that support their goals and fit their lives.
That’s where the real transformation begins.
What’s next?
We’re not done.
In fact, we’re just getting started!
CFIT is officially joining The Irish Yank in Tampa this September for the Irish Yank Strength Summit! I am so excited to be heading back to Florida (for those who remember, I used to teach sailing in a private yacht club in Clearwater!)
Two coaches. One mission: to raise the bar for what real health and fitness coaching should look like.
We’re combining education, performance, and female-focused training in a way that cuts through the noise — and delivers results that last.
This is leadership. This is the standard.
