CFIT says - My Go-To Podcasts & Books

A list for when you need inspiration, empowerment, or just a really good listen/read
People often ask me what I’m listening to or reading at the minute — and honestly, I love these conversations. Whether it's a client looking for a motivating podcast for their morning walk, or a friend searching for a new book to get stuck into on holiday, I find so much joy in sharing the things that have left a mark on me. So, I figured — why not put it all in one place?
Here’s a round-up of what I’ve been loving lately.
🎧 Podcasts Worth Your Time

Oprah – Super Soul
It’s Oprah. Enough said, really. But if you’re after soulful conversations with thought leaders, changemakers, and inspiring minds, this podcast is gold. The episode with Jacinda Ardern had me so captivated I ran 13km without even noticing — and if you know me, that says a lot!

The Wellness Scoop - with Ella Mills & Rhiannon Lambert
Ella Mills (you might know her as Deliciously Ella) brings warmth and credibility to every episode. She dives deep into wellness, nutrition, mental health, and the science behind it all — without ever making it feel preachy or overcomplicated. It’s practical, grounded, and genuinely helpful. - Listen here
Grace Beverley – Working Hard, Hardly Working
A straight-talking entrepreneur who isn’t afraid to challenge hustle culture. Grace’s episodes offer honest insights into productivity, burnout, success, and the behind-the-scenes reality of building a business. Great for a mindset reset or business inspo.

Amanda St John – A Created Life
Amanda brings heart, empathy, and authenticity to her podcast — and I was honoured to be a guest! We had an open conversation about overcoming low self-esteem, disordered eating, and how those challenges led me toward a life of coaching and purpose.

📚 Books I Couldn’t Put Down
Brooklyn – Colm Tóibín
Quiet, powerful, and beautifully written. This book captures the bittersweet experience of leaving home and forging your own identity. Perfect for a slower summer afternoon with a coffee in hand.

November 9 – Colleen Hoover
If you love a story with emotional twists, deep chemistry, and a bit of heartbreak (in a good way), Colleen delivers. This one kept me up turning pages well into the night.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Taylor Jenkins Reid
Yes, another TJR – I told you I was in deep. This book is full of old Hollywood glamour, secrets, love, loss, and everything in between. Evelyn is the kind of fictional character you think about long after the last page.
I’ll keep adding to this list as I discover more, but for now — I hope you find something here that speaks to you, whether you're out on a run, cooking dinner, or just winding down for the night.
Got a recommendation you think I’ll love? I’m always keen to hear them. Drop me a message or share it in your next session!
